WEATHER

As a tropical country, Costa Rica experiences only the rainy and dry seasons. The dry season is generally between late December and April. The Caribbean coast tends to get more rainfall all year, however a dry morning, followed by a rainy afternoon is as predictable and it has been a part of folk customs for as long as anyone can remember. Temperatures vary from lows of 15 degrees Celsius (59 Fahrenheit), to highs of 28 degrees (82.4 Fahrenheit). The coastlines tend to be warmer, and the mountainous regions are certainly cooler.
